I now have my AIM Messenger service set up. If you have a screen name from any of the CompuServe, AOL, Netscape or AIM services, you can contact me as Timar249, providing if I'm available, of course. :)

Chat with me
You can now chat me online, provided that you have instant messaging software. (The three types come from Yahoo!, MSN and AOL.) I already have my Yahoo messenger sofware installed, so if anytime you want to chat with me, look me up on the Yahoo! messenger service to see if I'm available to chat. My screen name there is timphelps. I also will be available soon on the Microsoft and AOL instant messenger services.

It's been awhile--hard drive broke down and rain
Well, my hard drive died (earlier this month). Just as well as its capacity was kind of small (8 GB). I know have an 80 GB HD installed into my system.

It looks like the return of the heavy storms to the area. We really needed the rain, though. The forecast calls for rain for most of the week.


I am going to take time off at the end of this week and into the beginning of the week after.

In With The Old Hours
It looks as though I am back working mostly nights again (no earlier than 3 p.m.). Might as well. I never was really used to getting up to work at 5 in the morning (I am not a morning person) and the occasional overnights were killers for me.

Earthquake!
A very moderate earthquake hit about 200 miles north of here. All I felt was a rolling motion, though, and no damage -- just rattled nerves, dishes and the like.

Holiday Shopping
I am done with my Christmas shopping. I hope the items I ordered online are delivered in time (fingers crossed).

USC out of BCS Championship game
I knew USC wouldn't be in the championship. I don't think they have that good of a team. :)
