Coach continues

OK, my apologies Falcon…corrections follow

1) Do you want some tofu to go with that whine?  Or maybe I should say it in U-per?  Dough yah want some of dat dere fake cheese stooff from dah Japanese?

2) As a well-educated, highly trained fisheries & wildlife resource manager, I regret to inform you that there are NO grizzly bears in Michigan …nor are there any real “mountains” that any self-respecting grizzly bear would be caught dead in.  Furthermore, your sister’s teddy bear is a black bear.

3) I’m waiting to hear back from the Success Center regarding how to get signed-up for the classes.  Get you schedule figured out now and have a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, time preference incase your first time is not available

4) Personal Vendetta?  Didn’t he kick your _ss at MSU last year?  Besides, I think he graduated.

5) All your boys?  For Pete’s sake Falcon, how many girls did you knock-up this summer?!

Also, how do I sign up for those classes ASAP? I am not missing MSU, because 1. I have a personal vandetta and 2. All my boys are planning on coming down....

Guys, the Student Success Workshops will only allow a limited number of participants at each workshop.  Ms O’Connell is limiting them to about 16 people but may allow 20.  Regardless, you need to get signed up to take these courses.  They are 50 minutes each and will be very painless.  As I mentioned before, these are required.  If you do not attend all four you will not be wrestling at the Michigan State Open.  I will let you know when you can begin signing up for these classes.

For those who made it to open mats this weekend, thanks!  I heard we had a great turnout.  REMEMBER: NO OPEN MATS THIS SUNDAY AUGUST 10TH!!  Next open mat is August 17th.

Chad Allen joins Manchester wrestling team

I wanted to announce to you that Chad Allen has recently committed to coming to Manchester and wrestling with us for the next 4 years. Chad is originally from Knox High School in Knox, IN.  Last year as a Junior, he placed 8th at the state tournament here in Indiana.  This past year he moved to North Carolina where he won the North Carolina state championship.  Chad will wrestle at 133 for us.

Coach offers intramural jobs
I wanted to give you a heads-up that Intramural jobs have been posted on the HR website.  Now, let me tell you that just because you’re a wrestle means that I’m going to give you a job!  You still need to apply, submit a resume, etc. and be interviewed like everyone else. And honestly, I’ll likely give the job to another person, all other things being equal, just so it doesn’t look like I’m showing any favoritism. But, I typically need lots of people….especially if you can referee soccer, flag football, softball, etc.

Sam corrects Falcon's grammar
It looks like you could use the Student Success Workshops based on your spelling and grammatical errors in your last email.
coach = Coach (should be capitalized because it is the beginning of a letter)
Schedual = Schedule
Barrow = Borrow
term D's get degrees = term "D's get degrees"
Sitck = Stick
falcon = Falcon (In this case Falcon is a proper noun)
Haha. Just trying to stick up for you coach.

Guys,  those PERC positions I emailed you about needed some clarification.  They are requiring that you have CPR certification.  If you had a PERC job last year Coach Marlowe will be offering a CPR class on one night after school starts.  For those who did not work at the PERC, you need to get CPR cert. on your own.  The PERC jobs are probably some of the best on campus so if you want one, it would be a good idea to look into getting certified before you get to school.  Check with your local hospital.  They usually have cheap or free CPR classes open to the public.
